Jesus, My†h-Supers†ar, audio books, huh? I've never listened to one of those. Maybe this would be a good time for me to find out more about them.

I actually haven't read a book in about 6 months. I have been putting everything onto my MP3 player and listening as audio books. Right now I am listening to a set of comparative religion lectures through the TTC (not our TTC).

I am also re-listening to Christopher Moore's Lamb, The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal again and it is just as funny the second time. Fisher Stevens is a brilliant reader.

The New Gothic edited by Bradford Morrow and Patrick McGrath. It's okay, hit or miss, a bit heavy on the novel excerpts.

I'm also listening to Patrick McGrath's Asylum read by Ian McKellan, which is absolutely brilliant. I've already read the book and seen the film. Ian McKellan's interpretation is perfection though, and it's one of those books where you notice a lot more the second time around.

Just finished Covenant by Lorna Freeman. It's a pretty decent fantasy.Rabbit is a trooper on the Border Guards, just another body in the King's army. But when his patrol encounters a Faena-one of the magical guardians of an uneasy ally-Rabbit is thrust into a political and magical intrigue that could start a war. Because Rabbit isn't just another trooper. He is the son of nobility-and a mage who doesn't know his own power...

I am currently reading "Flaming Hearts And Frozen Feet" by J. Sukky Fagbohun. This is an highly rated non-fictional book that reveals the author's personal experiences on her journey to the presence of God. This book embraces the marriage of stylized humor and eloquence coupled with good literary skills in taking the reader through its pages. I believe that this book is an excellent choice for every book lover.

The Weather Makers by Tim Flannery

It's about global weather history and how the future climatic changes that are starting to occur will affect the earth.

Yes, I find it is a very good book and I do recommend it.

Hi Darth!

I just finished reading "River Rising" by Athol Dickson. On a scale of 1-10, I'd give it a 7. One I just re-read not long ago that I'd highly recommend is "Cane River" by Lalita Tademy. Excellent book!

I'm getting ready to start "Qi" by David Aikman.

I've read "The Bluest Eye" too--no offense, but I didn't like it at all. And I'd had such high hopes for it too. :))

EDIT: OMG!!! It is you! LOL

I don't read much fiction. I am currently reading two books. One is 'The Healing Light' by Sanford. Very good. I recommend it. And the other is 'No Time to Lose' by a Buddhist nun, Pema Chodron. Interesting, a bit difficult to think in Buddhist terms, but worth the effort.
