What is most amazing is that the law that a recission attempt failed to undue, even existed to begin with. *Sigh* it comes as no surprise as California has always been a liberal state. They should draw a new border along the north foot of the grapevine and rename the area south of it New Tijuana.

The question lumps all Democrats together with the Democrats on the California Assembly's Higher Education Committee. The question is equivalent to asking why Republicans want to abuse young boys because one Congressman did so. I'm a liberal Democrat and a retired Army officer who served in Vietnam. I oppose granting amnesty to any illegal immigrant or providing any benefits to them, and I am not alone. According to a Zogby poll, the greatest opponents of illegal immigration are Democrats, African-Americans, women and people with household income below $75,000, those with the most to lose in the job market.

because power over the uneducated and illiterate would mean a democratic majority for years to come. It is also the reason why liberals perpetuate the idea of political correctness and affirmative action in the black community. The purpose is to keep blacks thinking that they are still victims of "the man" so they will continue to vote democratic. The KKK is mostly democrats, and (Robert Byrd D-wv) was once a recruiter. A republican president signed the emancipation proclamation.

First of all, it's California, and here in the Twilight Zone, the Democrats are Socialists and represent more of Mexico than America.
Second, they think that there should be no southern border.

The democrat party is just all of the minorities (gays, blacks, poor, socialist, etc...) united as one against the republicans. Republicans are all of the majorities united (whites, straight people, christian, etc...).

As long as there are millionnaires on Rodeo Drive who harbor illegal mexicans as "maids", "janitors", "pool attendants", nannies and body massagers, you'll get no change.
