She did it before we married, but now she does it constantly, and tells me to get used to it, I did it before we got married, and I am not changing. And she wonders why I don't feel attracted as I used to be

She stated she did it prior to us getting married, which is true. But now it's getting out of hand, and it's disgusting to me and a total turn off, we all do it, but she never stops

It drives me crazy my husband does it and even though I have explain to him how I feel about it he keeps doing it, especially when we argue. I feel the same as you it is rude and vulgar.

Honestly, it's not that bad, and the fact that she feels comfortable enough with you and knows you'll love her just because she has an "unladylike" manner sometimes, should make you feel good. So it's not so sexy, I'm sure there are other things about her that really turn you on, so why don't you make an agreement, like for every five times either one of you burps or farts, you have to do something for the other person that does get you attracted. Can you deal with it? Fart right back, I've actually had some very competitive farting wars, it seems immature but my boyfriend and I are really comfortable with each other. Do you really want the years of your marriage to involve fights about gas? Just relax.

maybe she does it because she knows how much it annoys you. Don't say anything when she does it for awhile and see if she stops, at least she isn't doing it in front of anyone else. It IS disgusting and a turn off, not very lady like. Divorce on the grounds of farting & belching your honor...that would be a first!lol

If it bothers you so much, why'd you marry her? Is farting and belching grounds for divorce?I can see the divorce decree now: Instead of irreconcilable differences, yours will read: WIFE FARTS AND BELCHES. Maybe you should tell her that you don't feel as attracted to her because she does this so indiscriminately. Unless you're looking for an excuse to seek out extra-marital liasons. "My wife farted and belched a lot, so I cheated on her."

I never fart in front of my husband. Maybe I gas in sleep..he said I did a few times. LOL I did not mean to anyway. I do belch sometimes, but he is laughing. Never said it's disquisting. About farting...I don't know..for a woman is pretty disquisting. My husband does it most of the time, but he is a man. This is how men are. Right? :)

If that is the worst you can come up with then you have no problem LOL We have been together 9 yrs and he does it all the time Usually when I do it I say opps sorry or excuse me but now it doesn't bother either of us. I still hate it when he rolls over and scoots up to me then does it when I am trying to sleep LOL. But he says I pay him back when I am asleep

Maybe you should tell her that it is affecting the way you view her attractiveness. Is there some other issue at hand? Maybe she feels like you are trying to change her, and she is resisting. I mean, you kinda are trying to change her. Maybe you guys should see a counselor to find out what is really going on.

Could it be the food? A lot of people just don't learn how to stifle the stuff coming out (I knew a guy who was like that, he was shocked to hear that others could hold it back so it didn't alert the world to the fact a fart was done).
Be right up front that it's killing your attraction to her. Social constraints say stuff like that isn't done around others, even close others. If she's adamant about the 'get used to it', ask her if you can schedule a doctor's appointment to see if there's something they can suggest. This does involve the digestive system at both ends--getting a medical check could be in order here.

Gas is natures way of preventing you from exploding. A polite excuse me is acceptable even between spouses. Unless you are one of those who believes that expulsion of gas is demeaning in some way then get out or buy a fart filter. Barbie is perfect but she doesn't eat pepperoni!

It is a natural bodily function. Before you were married you probably weren't around each other as much so you didn't notice. You can only hold it in for so long. I'd have to agree with her, you'll have to get used to it. If you find yourself not being as attracted as you were before that says something about your relationship you may not want to face.
