speedo seems ok but gas, rpm,and temp gage are allover the place

You will have to contact the manufacturer. Alot of vehicles are experiencing mass problems with the printed circuit boards in the instrument clusters. Some cars are recalled for it, but others just have a service bulletin. Chevrolet has a service bulletin on most of their models produced since 2001, but a recall is coming for some of those models. Mercedes and other German cars have recalls on them, and Ford has TSB for some and recall on others.

GM had lots of dash gauge problems on their cars over the years...could be a dash problem or power/ground problem too.

Had this happen to me on my 84 Suburban, was the fuse-link.
