my mom made a point to tell me that she was disappointed in me. i already knew this. no need to rub salt in the wound.

Don't take it to heart. They are really disappointed in their selves for feeling that they failed you in some way. If you can look at someone and they smile, then how can you be a disappointment to anyone? Cheer up! You do matter!
The last words my father said to me on his deathbed was that I was worthless. Everyday that I wake up since then, I have proved those words to be false.

Absolutely,, you must realize that even the most successful people in the world beleive they have not lived up to thier parents expectations... We all want to be the best we can be, and often we can't live up to our own lofty expectations. Remember your parents were once kids too, and if you asked them they probably believe they were a disapointment to thier parents

sometimes when i fail to take their advice and the decision that i have chosen turns out wrongly. Sometimes i wish im cleverer and could make more money

yes. when they are busy and i am just home sleepin, watching tv, or on the net.. when it gets messy i just look at the mess .. so now lately ive been cleaning.
