its just like everything else people get into. Like football ( just an exsample) people get into football as much as people get into anime if not more.

Going to a convetion and cosplaying or dressing up during halloween is one things, bu some of the others you listed are a little excessive.

Wearing headbands to school and memorizing handsigns are indicitive of a Narutard. A lot of anime fans hate those kind of Naturo fans simply because of the negative stigma that they bring to all anime fans, even the ones who act normally, but just have a passion for anime.

I absolutly think its excessive but I have a brother who is really into it.. well he buys tons of it anyway I have never seen him to try dressing like a character or practicing hand signs but the amount of money he has blown on the anime is astounding to me.

I've also really offended several people by calling it an-a-me
instead of an-a-may

when your seriously offended by the pronunciation then I think its gone a little too far but what do I know I've never bothered watching any.

To me, no. One of my friends last year was so into Naruto that he bought lots of Naruto stuff; from action figures to manga, bands to clothes, and he even try to memorize everything in Naruto. So... Um... He's even addicted to talking about it too.

Yes, nearly anything about anime that costs money is excessive. Yes, I also know that I'm a cheapo. =P

Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle FTW!

Most obsessions are unhealthy. But being obsessed with anime is unhealthy and all-out dorky.
