I (62) taught my son's girlfriend (19) how to drive. I have alot of patience with people and don't get rattled under any conditions. parking was her biggest problem but we worked on it for a few weeks and within a month she got her driver's license and is a very good and careful driver.

I also taught my son to drive a car and motorcycle. He did exceptionally well with both.

My son .. TERRIFYING ... he has ADHD ... and he NEVER did respect me, comply with his meds routine (especially as a teenager), and he was arrogant to the extreme (teen hormones raging wild, which means that he would DISRESPECT and be RUDE to his Long Term Single Mom ... the ONLY parent who provided for him for all his life).
