Looking back to the time I first saw them on the Ed Sullivan show, I did not have a favorite. After all, they all had the same hair cuts, wore the same outfits and all nodded their heads in the same way. As the years went by, my favorites changed with the times. Ringo was always the goofy one, so I will have to set him aside. For the rest, I respected them all for their music and miss George and John, but Paul had the ability to keep in the limelight and keep up with the times. When it came to solo careers, he was able to regroup and do more with his career. He had enough savvy to team up with other famous singers, as well as start another new group. John, although brilliant writing music, became too funky for me once he teamed up with Yoko.George teamed up with other singers and recorded some great stuff, but just seemed to be in the background. It is true that the media may have helped make it seem so, but then, that is the life of a celebrity.
