I'm not a lady, but from a guys perspective, I respect independent women, respect their abilities and their minds, but as a man I have always wanted to take care of the woman I care about.
Maybe I once again will take the time to have someone in my life again instead of working all the time.

I am independent in respect to my abilities to take care of myself financially. But, I want a "stand up" man who can make me feel like a true woman. I'm sorry but I do not care for the term,"taken care of" there's a connotation of helplessness associated with the term.

Yes! I love to be taken care of...I think it's sweet if a guy wants to take care of you & make sure your happy...cause that's what I do w/my men...I love to take care of them & I love to be taken care of in return.

To an extent I do...but I also take pride knowing I can take care of myself. Its always a nice feeling though when the person who cares about you takes care of you to.
I like the feeling of knowing my man can protect me...and he loves knowing that he can protect me and that he makes me feel safe.

I love to be taken care of-- but it has to be by someone I trust completely, otherwise, its just scary.
