WONDERTWIN,
I am talking about the Major League Baseball League Cgampionship Series playoffs.

At one time the Home feild advantage team got games 1,2,5,&7 at home also know as the 2-2-1-1-1 format.
Now its a 2-3-2 format where the homefeild advantage team gets games 1,2,6,&7 at home

1969-1984 2-3
1985-Present 2-3-2

Never. Since going to the best-of-seven format in the mid-1980s, the League Championship Series have always been scheduled "2-3-2."

You're thinking of Basketball. Basketball used to have the 2-2-1-1-1 format.

Yeah, basketball and hockey have been 2-2-1-1-1, baseball's always been 2-3-2.
