No. Once upon a time I believed in that whole heartedly. I would bend over backwards to treat people with the respect, kindness, and honesty I would expect to receive. You know what I received for my efforts, NOTHING. No, wait, that isn't completely accurate, I have been taken advantage of time and time again because I lived by the ideas to never judge a book by it's cover, never judge someone by the company they keep, and to "do unto others as you would have them do unto you." There is no honor in our society (the United States) anymore. Sometimes I wonder if that isn't our society's biggest fairytale. So, no, I don't believe in that anymore. Someone wants respect from me, they have to earn it. Someone wants my trust, prove to me you are honest. Someone wants my faith, show me you deserve it. If you can't do any of these things, P!$$ OFF. I agree with B, thumbs me down but it's true. There is No karma in this world. That's just superstition, like heaven and hell. Sure I treat people well most of the time, because I have a heart. But, when push comes to shove, I shove harder.

Also, my job calls for being a hustler, I'm on commission. If I did onto others, I would be broke. same goes for every business, corporation, and politician. As you can see, it's a dog eat dog world. We get treated like dogs by the bigger dogs.
