Yes, when my niece was born, she took my breath away. I have never had my heart filled with so much love in my whole life. It's like my heart grew so much I thought it would burst. This little tiny brand new life has given mine meaning and it has been like the beginning of my life started the day she was born. Then there was the time I was in Puerto Rico standing on a cliff looking out at the Caribbean Sea. No one else was around for miles, just me and the sea and the sun, and the waves crashing up against the cliff. It was, to me, proof that G-d had been there, and it also, took my breath away. Luckily, I have several pictures of both, so when I just can't seem to find the words, I have photos to speak volumes in my stead.

Yes I have.
When I went to Lebanon in 1991 for the first time after I left it ( I was only 10 years old when I left ). The view of the beautiful mountains really took my breath away. I had never seen such a majestic scenery. I had seen many countries but nothing that matched Lebanon's beauty...

Yes...I had an eight year patient in my Pediatric clinic back in my home country, I was staring at the window of the hospital, then suddenly there was an explosion with body parts flying...It was severe and I felt that I was thrown 10 meters back, but I realized I was on the same spot and didn't move....my breath was taken away, and I couldn't move my legs for 15 minutes...It was awful..

yes, I have seen a phenomenon that took my breath away.

I went with my family to a dolphin show.
My brother and I were standing looking at the dolphin in the tank.

My brother took a step to the left when he calls me " come here"
so I went. We were looking at the same tank and it appeared as if it was "empty"!!!.

Of course, you can explain this through physics, but it was spectacular to observe this phenomena in real life as opposed to something you learn about in the tect book.

Another breathtaking scene is the niagra falls scene together with the rainbow.

Pictures of snow through a microscope, I will post a link.

Sorry about the old link. here it is again.

yes, I was an ABH on board the USN aircraft carrier USS Midway from 1986 - 1990 working on the flight deck. many times I have seen schools of flying fish, playfull dolphins, a whale, the most amazing sunsets, a waterspout (small tornado at sea) giant sea turtles in guam where the water is so clear you can almost see the bottom. but the one which stopped me in my tracks was a bad sight, a guy from a squardron was working with an e-2c hawkeye which has propellers and I saw him walk right into it and kill him instantly, I was in total shock, couldn't breath, couldn't move, it was horrible.

My children, ages 3 and 1 were watching Barney one morning and were about half way thru the show. I flicked on another channel and saw the plane flying thru the twin towers. That definitely took my breath away.

I am still awestruck when I see a beautiful sunset , a majestic mountain peak or any other part of God's amazing creation !

Compared to it we mere mortals pale into insignificance yet God , in his wisdom , has given us authority over ALL of it !WOW !
