it seems logical to me that this administration is watching many chat rooms and websites online...it's where they get alot of other info, if you'll notice.
i would imagine they would have software to do the monitoring...looking for key words/phrases, etc. is it just me, or doesn't it make sense?

well, in reality, Yahoo IS being funnelled. Under the Patriot Act, the government IS being fed information that comes from here. Supposedly, they are only monitoring emails that have to do with terrorism. Yeah, right. This is the same government, after all, that said we were not authorizing spy flights over the Soviet Union in the 1950s until Kruschev produced parts of the U2 plane, and the pilot who formerly flew it. Anyone who doesn't think this government will lie to suit its own purpose is a foolish person indeed.

Of course it's being watched -- mainly by users, but I'm sure someone out there reads it for some other purpose.
As for "funneling" -- the sheer volume of questions and answers requires it to be an automated process -- unless there is massive computing power going into word pattern matching -- it's impossible to effectively control what questions and answers get posted and which ones do not in real time -- and certainly impossible for a human to do it.
