i have a science project and i need to find out what wood has more density?? HELP ME PLEASE

Red Oak. It's a hardwood and the others are softwoods. You could've easily done a search online to find the answer.

Red Oak, would be the most dense, next would be the Cedar, and Balsa would be among the least dense.

Red Oak and Balsa are both, technically, 'hardwoods'. This is a good example though, of how a particular species can vary from others.

I'll also note here that 'specific density' usually falls in a range for a species...it does vary a bit from sample to sample.

Red Oak is denser than Ceder or Balsa.
Red Oak is a Hard Wood, Ceder and Balsa is a Soft Wood.
It depends what you are going to do with the wood as witch one you will use. Thank you
