It has been a long time since I have been in school and I am thinking of taking a course to become a instructor. The required hours is 650 hours. How many weeks or months are we taking about? Thanks.

If the school you are CONSIDERING is speaking of regular hours (not 'credit hours'), it sounds like about a 3 year course unless it is condensed. ONE class will run you about 20 classroom hours a month; 650/20=32.5mos / 12mos=2.70 years.
If you are able to take say, 2 classes a month, that would cut it in half to 1 year 3 mos. Obviously, if you are taking THREE classes at a time (able to attend 3+ hours per day), it would take you a little over 10 months.

You need to ASK your Admissions office HOW THEY define 650 'hours'. I am being 'generous' when I suggest 20 hours per month...they are sometimes NOT so generous. I attended two colleges...both offered about 5 'credit hours' per class. So, is it 'Credit Hours', or 'Classroom Hours?'

That depends on how many hours each course you take counts for. You need to ask the school.
