well see Jack, first of all ask your self if you ready to get out and live on your own. See it's not a must that you have to leave, if you dont want to. If you think you are not ready then take some more time, talk to parents may be . But if you want to leave, then you should be happy that you are getting to leave.
Now there are initially 2 options, 1. you are goin to college, 2. you are getting a job and starting earning & livin your life. Well I seriously say option 1, but it depends on you. If you go to college, you will be with some friends and you will learn a lot form that 4 year. But that doesn't mean college life is the safest of all. DONT EVER GET WASTED sweetheart. you should have fun within limit and then you can realy enjoy your college life.
on option 2 you are goin to get a job, and rent a room or apartment. if you rent you will meet the most weired kind of people in the world, and that is the LANDLORD. if s/he is a good person, then you are lucky.

or life will be a little less easy. but dont worry, we all go through that!! There you must learn how to share rooms with others and all the stuffs and learn how to compromise. You will start seeing guys if you dont already have bf, and from there you will also learn some more. but again i must say DONT EVER GET WASTED. if you just be a little careful, I hope you will have a nice life.
