A question i though hard about after toking up.

First off, you must believe in God to have an answer for this question.
With all the things going on in the world today, if God did not exist, would it be necessary for him to be invented?

"If God did not exist, it would be necessary to invent him" is a famous [and rather ironic] quote by Voltaire.

However, being in the illustrious company of so many stoned people here, I find myself utterly inept to tackle this question.

No. Two thousand years ago mankind was so far advanced but religions saw the advancements as evil and part of devil work destroying many many advancements which took mankind the majority of the following 15 or so centuries to REDISCOVER them. Besides, God is not an invention mankind can conjure up. As long as you have the ignorant, superstitious living in FEAR, you will HAVE God for GOD "IS" the phobiatic nature of this species and you can't invent this nature.

God as such was created by Man, not the other way around. For exactly the same reasons the Greeks and Romans created their gods before Christianity became prevalent.

If God didn't exist, would u be here rite now!!!
If GOD didn't exist...why in the world Christianity,Hinduism,Islamic,Buddhism,Taoism, and etc exist??? Think in over again!!

GOD lives IN EACH & EVERY INDIVIDUAL.

Well he is projected out/take forms thru a man who helps a blind 2 cross e road,a lady who cooks for the orphan,a child who saves up his pocket money to donate to the poor & needy.

Hope i have manage to answer ur questn!!!

I think that society has always had need of a higher moral authority. Society trains us that certain behavior is good and other behavior is bad. We'll eventually reject being trained like animals unless there is also a rational basis.
