A friend of mine was a victim of a hate crime in a restaurant. The restaurant did not call an ambulance or even attempt to help and he was passed out inside for several hours before he woke up and called his sister. He needed staples and is taking Vicodin because his skull is cracked. His parents are suing the chain, and I want to start a boycott for him of this restaurant. How do you go about starting one up?

Take Dan W's idea and run with it, then look to see if there is a site which rates restaurants in your area, and post a poor rating and description of what happened.
You can also go old school and picket the restaurant handing out fliers.

Honestly, CNN is tilted to the Left. FOX will get the status of being a Conservatively biased community conveniently for the truth that they do function extra hosts which are Politically Conservative, Hannity, Hume and many others. But that is simply the Cable element. On the Network aspect let's accept it, Objectivity and credibility has taken a excursion. With Dan Rather and the faked Bush papers, jogging with the tale whilst the authenticity was once questionable certainly indicates a bias. To having a former Clinton staffer, Stephanopoulus(sic.) all of the sudden fitting an "Unbiased" information journalist? Sorry, cannot aid however be skeptical. When you have got ballot after ballot of News Jouralists admit they're Liberal leaning or continuously vote Democrat, there's intent to be a bit skeptical to their "objectivity". If humans do not like FOX, the reply is functional, do not watch it. If you do not like Conservative speak radio, do not pay attention to it. If humans in America are as "Liberal" as such a lot of right here look to think why did Air America move down in flames?

what was the reason, other than hate, did the altercation take place? Did he antagonize or argue with someone? did someone just come up and beat him? did someone come into the store from outside and hit him? did the person who attacked work at the store?
Usually a place of buisness would at least try to call an emergency personel if someone was passed out on there floor. That is where they went wrong I think. Its unfortunate that it happened. I wish you luck.. I would take out adds in papers, get on the local radios but be warned if that place advertises with either they may not post it, Picket it with signs, send out windshield flyers, and word of mouth.

He should have called the media.
As for a boycott. Make a bunch of signs and you and friends go stand in front of the store holding signs.
You have to stand on the sidewalk i believe and you can't block the entrance or you will go to jail. That will get their attention. Call the media when you do it. Hopefully they will do a story.

I would email the story to all your friends, then have them email it to all their address book and so forth. That's how these circular emails get started. You'd be flat-out amazed at how many email addresses it can end up going to just by starting with your 10 or 15 contacts.
Then, just tell everyone you know. Word of mouth is an amazing thing too.

What did he do, try to rob the place and get konked on the head with a frying pan? There is always more to the story than we are told.
