how do i know what kind of a slot my computer has?

i have a Gateway computer and idk what kind of slots it has?! where or how do i find out?

install pc wizard. it will give you everything you want.

Hi. Search for the model number. Your manual may tell you also. Look for memory slot type and graphics slot type. Most have PCI which is standard for most everything else.

Other than removing case and lookin. You could try a program called 'AIDA32'. You would need to web search for it as I cannot remember the site address.
