Oh man. 100 people could answer this question and you'll have 100 different answers. And there are literally a million different answers to this. It depends on the two people.
While most would disagree, I feel that two people could fall in love instantly. But.. it could also take two people years, or longer, to finally fall in love.
At the tender age of 17, I fell in love with my girl almost on-sight back in high school. At that age it should only be "puppy love". But there was something SO strong in me that just told me this was going to be the girl I would marry. These thoughts and feelings just repeated over and over. (And no, before people get the wrong idea.. she was not my "first"... LOL).
Seventeen years later we're still together (been married for 14).
So it can happen.
And there is no 1 answer to your question. It can happen in 5 minutes, or take 15 years.
Hopefully you will be mature enough to realize when it's REALLY, truly happening (and both people involved feel the same way).

People say that you should allow a sufficient amount of time to get to know each other but I always fall in love fast.

Great question: It depends on if you're in a hurry or if you dare too take the time too know the person. Each person is different. It took me 7months before I knew.

well, for me, i knew i loved my boyfriend after being with him for a week...i started falling for him probably two weeks after that...it just depends on how often you get to see that person and what they have in common and how much fun they have together. sometimes it can take a couple weeks, sometimes a couple years.

The time varies. I fell in love right when i saw him (love at first sight i guess).
actually, i knew him in fifth grade, but then he left, and came back in 8th grade, and the first time i saw him at 8th grade oreintation, i loved him.
but that didnt work out, and so now i love someone else.
so i guess for me, it takes a relatively short time for me to fall in love.
