The “Blue Screen of Death” a.k.a. “the Blue Screen” which is actually a Windows operating system “stop message,” will appear whenever a software, hardware or driver error occurs preventing Windows from operating properly.

This link will walk you through fixing the problem yourself, if that doesn't work then you will need to have someone look at it for you..

Also if you get it up and running, Download AVG free version(2nd link,) to scan for viruses and such, It works really good.

Good Luck =)

Hi, I don't know what brand of computer you have, that is like hp, etc.

Here is the web site. You can find out if they do other brands of computers when you log in. Play it by ear.

Http://www.hp.com/go/assistance. This is a free tech support live chat. Better than live phone chat anyday.

Try doing a defragment and disk clean-up. Follow steps:
1. Start
2. All programs
3. Accessories
5. System tools
6. Defragment.

When it is over do a disk clean-up. Follow steps 1-5 and for #6 do disk clean-up.

Also, click on Internet Options. 1
1. click General
2. delete cookies, delete files, clear history
3, days to keep pages in history, click 0
4 .click ok

Do all of this before you go onto the web address. Then you can tell the tech support what you did before you contacted him/her.

Hi. Check for overheating first, scan for malware second.
