I was 12 and he was 20, our parents owned vacation places in N.H. I was 13 and started dating Jimmy and he was 21 and started dating Carolyn. When I was 16 and he was 24 we all broke up. Both of us got other bf/gf's and 4 yrs later our families sold those homes. Ten yrs after that we went up their for a reunion weekend and I wasn't there 20 minutes and I heard my Dad say "Hey, Peter". I looked up, lost my breath and got in my car and left for some made up reason. After 3 days of his following me around (I thought I was just the only one to talk too) he held my hand and my world changed. That was July of 2003. We are very happy and are the parents of an adorable little boy and he told me the the other night that he loves our son 110% and me 109.5%. Wow, he meant it!
I now understand what people mean when they say you just know when it is the right guy/girl. I knew because he was truly my closest friend in the world. I also had completely decided and accepted that at 32 I would be single forever and once I really accepted it, their Peter was and I feel like I didn't even have a choice. God wanted us together. I would rather be with him than anyone, anytime. Well him and my children.
You will find it for yourself, especially if you don't look.

I would hope I married my Best Friend. I know I would not want to be without him and will try my best to make it stay that way. We have been together for going on 9 years of marriage and we have had some rough patches like all married couples have. You just work them out and move on.
Two people make a marriage and you both have to put all your hard work and LOVE into it to make it last a lifetime.

He wasn't my best friend in the beginning, but he is now, we share everything, we have been married for 16 years and together for 22 years, we adore each other, we laugh all the time, and we have always been very happy together.
It really was love at first sight for, I was with my friend and he was with his, I walked in he turned around and smiled and that was it, I knew instantly we were meant to be together, I said to my friend " see that fella sat at the bar I'm going to marry him", she laughed. We started chatting and we have been together ever since, we married six years later.

Yes I did. I am always happy knowing that I married him and not someone else. Thank God I ran him off the road and not some jerk. That was 9 years ago and we are still going strong. I honestly don't know what I would do without him in my life

My wife and I virtually met back in the sixth grade. Crazy huh? But it wasn't until our senior year in high school that we began to officially date. (One of my buddies actually joked we would make a nice couple but never really tried).
We've gone through prom together, college, graduation, and about three years ago, I finally asked for her hand in marriage. I can honestly say, yes I did marry my best friend.
Through tears and cheers, our lives are woven together. Everyday is not a good day, but you know, I wouldn't be able to breathe knowing that my wife is not there when I wake up in the morning.
She is there. She is beautiful. She is my breathe of my life and my new excitement in everyday.

Yes I did, and thank you for asking this. My husband, Charlie, and I lived next door to each other when we were kids, and we were inseperable. We've done it all and seen it all together, from childhood through the teenage years and into adulthood, me and him, thick as thieves to this day.
