when they say that a laptop has warranty for a year...what does it cover?

like if i want them to replace my fan b/c i think its kinda old and make a loud sound, do u think they could replace for me....b4 the warranty ends? or it has to be something that is not working, then they could do it...?

Usually it covers all hardware failure unless it's your fault, that is you dropped the laptop or used it improperly. But if the fan is still working and it's just noisy you have to call the manufacturer to see if they will replace it. Some would only replace it if it has failed.

Hi. Call and ask them. The fan will cause overheating in the future (maybe after the warranty has expired). Fix it now!
