I think its wrong...maybe right in case of some sales persons...

A counselor will talk smooth and persuasive..is he/she is a lier?....

One thing, we can't generalize everything...each and every individual is different....

You can't be a smoother talker withing being a liar and manipulator. A smooth and persuasive talker always has to exaggerat thing, blow own trumpet and indulge in back biting. But irony is that everybody fall for such a person, knowing that he is a rouge.

NO, ....the WAY somebody talks is not the way to make judgements about that person.....to find out if somebody is lying or telling the truth is to go out and investigate/research what that person has told is or is not authentic.(it is only fair to do so)
WAYS IS A TOOL that is individually adopted by people as they
feel most comfortable communicating........such as smooth talker,aggressive talker,shy talker,frank talker,gentle talker,respectful talker,yelling and obscene talker etc;

maybe he wouldn't need to be lieing but you would have to listen very carefully
