I liked Full House when I was growing up, but I didn't like how almost everything was centered around Michelle. I liked DJ and Steph way better, they dealt with the only real issues that happen in life. I think it sucks that the olsen twins got such stardom out of it and you hardly see any of the other girls.
The ending was really stupid too, where Michelle fell off the horse and lost her memory. The best part of the final episode was where Steve came back to take DJ to the prom.
And I agree with the person who said that all of the 80's shows were corny, not all of them, but remember Family Matters? Steve got stuck up in space with Carl after he married Laura. How stupid is that?
And while I'm on tv shows, the guy that the oldest daughter dated on step by step.. he was supposed to be one of her step brother's friends, but in earlier shows wasn't he one of her brothers? I might be imagining it, but I thought he was. Even if he wasn't, he still lived with them.

I agree it did get corny at times. There were some were the ending wasn't so bad but hey, it's a comedy from the 80s so what do you expect? It's still a great show that, like the person right above me pointed out, dealed with real life issues.

It was made in the 80's, all sitcoms back then were the same with the corny endings. I thought that whole premise of the show was depressing enough with a young widower trying to raise three tiny girls.

That was a family oriented sitcom. It does get corny but it launched the Olsen twins into preteen super stardom. The series finale was kind of sad.
There were a lot of these kinds of shows when this particular show made its debut.
Good luck
