Should I buy this coat?

Question

I have super-casual (ski jackets) and super-formal suits, but nothing in between. Click on the image to see a pop-up photo of a guy wearing it. I was planning on loden green. What would go well with it?

This coat seems to be quite conservative in style, meaning it is not something that would go out of style, yet is bland in fashion. It reminds me of something that London Fog would produce as it is timeless due to its generic nature.

Your choice of color is a good one. I suppose the questions would be is it your style, do you need it and is the price acceptable to you? As far as what go well with it, I would say anything from khakis to jeans. I doubt it would go well with a suit. While you have chosen a green color, it is a neutral one and therefore it would give you many options.

Yes it looks really nice. You can wear it with jeans or dress pants and a casual shirt.

perfect color, how about dockers pants in browns and blues-- i would get it in black though. and some croft and barrow shirts.
