Last Tuesday was the one-year anniversary of the meltdown in Arizona. Since it's shockingly relevant to last weeks amazing game between the Boys & Bills, let's refresh our memories:
On Oct. 16, 2006, at home on Monday Night Football, the 11-point underdog Cardinals blew a 20-0 halftime lead to the Chicago Bears, going down 24-23 with three minutes left when Devin Hester returned a punt 83 yards for a touchdown. The Cards had a chance to win with less than 60 seconds on the clock but Neil Rackers missed a 41-yard field goal to the left. Afterwards, Arizona coach Denny Green performed a meltdown of his own.
It was yet another painful moment in a long list of painful moments for the Arizona franchise.
Amazingly, history repeated itself yesterday when the Dallas Cowboys defeated the Buffalo Bills, 25-24, on a last-second field goal.
Monday Night Football? Check.
Eleven-point home underdog? Check.
Big halftime lead for said home underdog? Check.
Demoralizing finish for said home underdog? Check.
Yet another painful moment in a long list of painful moments for said home underdog? Check.
For bettors, it's worth noting how the Cardinals reacted after the tough loss, because it wasn't pretty. At winless Oakland the following week, they lost 22-9. After that, they lost 31-14 at Green Bay. And after a bye week, they got pounded 27-10 at home to the Cowboys.
The Bills are lucky in that they had a bye week to regain some semblance of composure, but if history is to keep repeating itself, don't expect Buffalo to forget about its MNF disaster for quite some time.

If you're a Dallas Cowboy's hater most likely you'll say they shouldn't have won any games, the fact of the matter is that they have won 5 games and lost one, whether you like them or not they look like they are heading to the super bowl and maybe a second chance at the New England Patriots

they should have gotten the crap beat out of them, way too many mistakes to have even had a shot at winning that game. I thought there were a couple of questionable calls in the final minute of that game, like the time on the clock and the onside kick actually going ten yards before being touched or that trapped ball being a completed catch.....all that in the final 60 seconds or less.NO WAY THEY SHOULD HAVE GOT OUT OF THERE WITH THE WIN!!!!!

the cowboys should not have won the way they played, but that shows how great of a team that they are.
of course the cowboys and packers will make the playoffs in the NFC.
the patriots and the colts are the favorites in the AFC, but is a tougher conference.

Dallas should have won by more than what they did. They should have played better.
