I have like no life and since I'm always sitting at home because I'm homeschooled what's a good hobby for me?
I sing, play the piano, read sometimes, and every once and a while I'll write stories.
Computers are like my only hobby right now.
I just want a new one that's active and I can do around the house. Please help!

hmmmmm..... well I was going to say piano but I guess that isn't a good one... dancing is good and I know this isn't around the house but how about trying out for a musical? If you can sing then that is really all you need! you don't really need dancing for that they will teach you anything you need to know. Jewelry making can be fun but boring... drawing is fun and even funner(no its not a word but oh well) if you draw out like you room... or your entire house. Photo taking is fun... all you need is a camera you can take picture of anything and make them all cool like... that's really all i can think of right now : )

Try coin collecting. It doesn't have to cost you a lot. You can go to the bank and pick of a box of coin (whichever denomination you like) for exactly face value. A box of pennies is $25, a box of nickels is $100, a box of dimes is $250 and boxes of quarters or half dollars are $500. You don't have to buy the whole box. The bank can pull out whatever amount you like.

Once you get a box, you can go through and pull out the better coins (there are books to help with this or websites). You can pick up a coin album and try to fill all the holes (get one for each year) or just search for interesting ones.

The coins that you don't want can be returned to the bank and put straight back into your account (though it's often better to return the coins to a different bank (not just a different branch but a different bank) so that you don't search the same coins over and over). Everything you find will have been obtained at face value. You'd be surprised what people have found. Check out these links to see:

Also check your change for interesting finds.

Some things to search for: wheat pennies, silver dimes, silver quarters, old coins, error coins, coins with the "S" mintmark - it could be a proof coin etc. There's always the chance that you could find a real treasure!

It's also helpful to buy a red book. It can help you price your coins and will answer many of the questions you may have.

OR IF THAT'S NOT FOR YOU...

Well, if you want a sit-down type of activity, try cross-stitch. There are so many cool patterns geared for young kids. You can stitch cards for friends and family, you can stitch gifts such as bookmarks, phone fobs, coasters, etc. People really love receiving a homemade gift. Then when you get really good and comfortable doing this, you can try one of those really elaborate designs to frame and hang. Good luck!

Try making jewelry. You can start out with easy projects and then move on to more complicated pieces. With Christmas coming, jewelry would make great gifts and be special because its handmade. You might also try making things with Sculpey clay. You can learn to make different figures and even make jewelry using Sculpey. Its lots of fun. There are molds you can buy or books that give step by step instructions.

You have so many skills right now why not develop them and record an album. Write a few songs, record them on your computer and put them on your own web page.

sounds like you have alot of talent.

Visit your local craft store and see what interests you there. Many of them offer free classes in different areas, and I'll bet they'll have something that you might like to try.

learn how to knit. It seems like an old person thing, but it would be so cool to knit people throw blankets as gifts. Or try learning to cook.
