probably lga775 if your planing to upgrade only get a intel dual core

Definitely LGA 775. Core2 Duo Conroe, Allendale and Conroe L for desktops are using LGA 775 format.

its lga775 socket. intel's sockets are consistent when it comes to dual core procs.
