Ive been searching for my horses brand for 3 years. He came from Texas and I live in Cali. I have never seen this type of brand before it is very unique. There were no papers when I bought him so I have no help. If you know any way to help please let me know. I've gone to the department of agriculture and board of brands and they've been no help either.

His brand is on his left hip and I believe its an iron brand but not positive. We bought him from Coyote Ranch (like a childrens ranch place) before it closed down. The horse belonged to the womans father we bought it from but he had died and she was not horse savvy at all. And of course she moved away and there is no way of contacting her. This brand is not a personal brand either from what Im aware of. To describe it would be kind of hard though. It is like the the begining of a 4 but the ones they teach you to make in kindergarden (not like this 4) and then the line that goes down to complete the 4 is a line like a j. Its a converged 4j. I am almost positive he came from Texas and was branded there because that is where he was born. He was only moved to Cali. when the father knew he was going to die, he wanted his daughter to have it because the horse meant a lot to him. Hun, this is the 3rd time you have asked this.
I'm exhausted. I have told you the proper channels to go through to start actions against all this.
There is nothing more that anyone can do.
