There are no laws against calling a teacher. Your school may have a policy about it.

I guess it would depend on the relationship you have with the teacher. The worst the teacher could do is tell you not to call anymore.

Calling is not illegal. What you call about may be. Harassment is illegal in any form. If you have a question about your class, SOME teachers may actually encourage you to call. If that applied to your teacher, they would probably have told you.

It's not illegal, but it is inappropriate and he probably wouldn't like you calling. The basic rule of these things is that unless someone has given you their number or asked you to call them, then you really shouldn't unless you have a REALLY good reason.

first of all the teacher will not get mad at you cause it's not like he is some famous person. he's normal like everyone else so it doesn't matter. but on the other hand if you call him about homework he will start lecturing you by saying 'CANT YOU JUST WAIT TILL TOMMOROW?' anyway that was my answer. hope that helps you.

It is not illegal to call in the first place, but if he asks you not to call, then it becomes illegal.

It is usually illegal for him to help you with school work over the phone. Even if it's legal, I can almost guarantee that he will not be willing to do it. I wouldn't bother.

It's a big weird...Are you in high school? I would try calling another student before stooping to calling the teacher. High School teachers like to leave their work at school and have personal time when they get home.

No, it's not illegal. If he has a listed phone number, he probably welcomes it. When my husband was a teacher, he welcomed any serious calls from students, and they didn't abuse it. He made it clear that if they abused it, permission was revoked, but he was glad to help and never had to revoke it.

It's not illegal unless you harass them. I would have a parent call instead if it is that important.

have faith it or now not, the legislatures do now not bypass rules like that, which will restrict or enable a pupil to call a former instructor. rather, they bypass familiar rules like those prohibiting telephone harassment. in case you preserve calling after being instructed to now not, that is going to be against the regulation regardless of your previous courting.

if his number is listed, then he doesn't mind random calls

only call if it's something important (i.e. school related)

teachers don't mind...i get my teaching license at the end of the year...we're people too
