If the travel expenses are small.... forget it.... it they are a large amount, you will have to sue specifically for travel expense.... Since the ruling was in your favor, you need to file an Abstract of Judgment and record it in all counties where you think this person may own real estate...... If they own property and try to sell or refinance it, they will have to pay your judgment, including accrued interest before they can complete their transaction. If you know where they work or their bank account information, prepare a Writ of Execution and have it served on the employer and/or bank...... they have to obey the court order.

No, you cannot. Travel expenses and other expenses incurred are only awarded by courts in extreme cases. If you had an extreme case, you'd be in a regular court, not a small claims court.

LOL sure, but you will have to go back to small claims court to get it. Oh and if you are an a$$ to the person, your chances of getting your money become slim and none. The court can order the person to pay, but they can't make them pay. So if they get pissed at you and refuse to pay, about the worst you can do is put a black mark on their credit.

This SHOULD have been addressed during the original case. I seriously doubt you can sue for travel AFTER THE FACT, even if you would have been awarded them in the first place.
