I was reading on wikipedia that Jeff Kent started out the 1992 season with the Blue Jays, and was later traded on August 29th in a deal for David Cone..

The Blue Jays sent Kent a world series ring after beating the Braves in the 1992 world series..

Thus, should Jeff Kent be considered a world champion ?

I'm just wondering if he is a world champion ?? He has the ring, but wasn't on the team.. Does this still make him a world champion ???

It's a little different than say Frank Thomas, who was was hurt with the 05 White Sox, but was still on the team..

Kent was playing for another team..

The Jays believed Kent made enough of a contribution to help get them to playoffs where they later won the world series. Since the Jays believed he earned the ring than who are we the say otherwise?

Jeff Kent is not a Champion!

He is a loser!

Dodgers should trade him!

Or send him down to AA!
