Don Mattingly, Joe Girardi, Tony Larussa. They have to interview a black guy for the job according to the rules. But whoever it is you know he won't get the job.

It will come down to Mattingly or Girardi and any others they elect to interview will have limited consideration. I will give the edge to Mattingly to become the next manager.

I heard 2 different things. On the news tonight they said whoever the manager (or coach, I don't remember) for the Yankees minor league was going to get it, but he's now manager for some other pro team. I also very unofficially heard that Steinbrenner (I'm sure I spelled that wrong!) was going to get it. That one sounds like a spiteful rumor, I have no idea if he even has a son!

1st off lets hope George has a better offer up his sleeve for Joe Torre and doesn't let him walk away. But if they don't I would love to see Joe G take it or Donny baseball. I think either one would give a fresh new feeling to the team. Just look at what Joe G did with a young inexperienced Marlins.

Willie Randolf is the perfect fit for the Yankees
Willie goes back to the Bronx and Joe returns to Queens and life is in balance again.

Common, Bobby Valentine maybe, they need someone with experience and who's available.....Phil Garner would be a candidate.

Wait, ya ya Don would be great, I liked him, he'd be perfect. My vote goes to Zimmerman!

God I hate the Yankees.
