Ones that not like ugly guys dating their daughter. LOL!
Maybe you not show them much personally. Try to be more personable and talk with the parents some so they have an idea what you like and begin to know you as a person. Do not just knock on the door and ask if she ready and leave. Leaving the parents thinking; "Who was that masked man"?

I assume that she is under legal age of consent.

It's really popular these days for parents to let under-age people make a lot of their own decisions - including who they see, where and how they see them, and what they do together. Partly I think it's because it's popular to consider individual choice to be sacred, and partly it's because many parents are self-absorbed and fairly indifferent to what their children do.

But for many cultures, parents care deeply about their childrens' futures, and that care extends right into adulthood. With such parents, it's important to understand and recognise custom, and to present your own trustworthiness and respectability. You're not just dating the girl; you're forming a relationship with her family. When you visit them, you're representing your family, your values and your upbringing, and to an extent, your own future and potential as a long-term friend of their daughter. (*Every* family you visit will make such assessments by the way, not just "traditional" families!)

Unfortunately, many young people don't know how to do this. They've grown up with an attitude of "take me as I am", rather than "I will honour *you* as you are".

If this girl is worth dating, then hopefully she's not just an object to you. If so, then perhaps she's worth special effort for her own sake. Have you considered honouring the family on their own terms, letting them set the limits, and honouring the girl for the family she has grown up with?

Parents who think that you are not suitable for their daughter wouldn't let you date theirs because they don't want any trouble going on while you are on date. Sit down and talk to her parents and ask them "Why aren't you letting me go on date with your daughter?" They will explain everything and maybe you could try to tell them where you will be going, what you'll be doing and how you can take care of her.

Just like any other parent, your parents wouldn't want you to get into danger. So if you really want to date her, tell it to her parents.

I don't know what you're like or how old you are, but depending on what those factors were, I might or might not. I'd really have to meet the guy to judge what type of person he was and if it was a good match for my daughter (if I had one that was in this situation in the first place).

Lets see Hmm let me think. If you had a daughter would you let you date her. What kind of parent would you be and what kind of person would you want your baby girl to date??Guess that all depends huh...Blue says you do not need to date anyway so give it up. But he is just a cat and they don't date.

Ok... get this point.... NO PARENT WOULD LET ANYONE DATE THIER DAUGHTER IF SHE IS YOUNG AND NOT MATURE.

Second thing is... Parents will try to judge you from your first 10 seconds of your appearance and the way you talk. that's all you get buddy, 10 seconds.

There are other factors too, but this should be enough.

Did THEY tell you to 'go away', or did they (according to HER) tell her to 'stay away from him'? If a woman really wants you, parents have nothing to say about it, unless you live in some backward country, where they can send her to a convent to 'keep her chaste'.
