Across the Atlantic- there's only Bermuda. It's closer to the U.S. but only one I'd consider somewhat halfway between. This excludes islands such as Azores and Canary Islands, which are a bit to the south, and Iceland and Greenland (not a country) a bit to the north and closer to the U.K..

Iceland is approximately half-way. Greenland is not a country, it's a possesion of Denmark.

I'm not sure if it's EXACTLY halfway between the UK and the USA, but I'd say Iceland. Also Greenland, perhaps, but it's technically owned by Denmark.
