According to the story, they sinned and gained the knowledge of good and evil. They, and us through them, were cursed with toiling to eat, painful child birth, and that woman needed to submit to man. They had at least 3 sons, the women being unimportant where not mentioned. Presumably the sons married - or had sex with - the daughters and thus the human race was begun.

In the bible it tells of God creating adam from the dust in his own image. He created Eve by taking a rib from Adam. They were to live in the Garden of Eden where life would be easy for them and they would be taken care of by God. God told them they could have anything from the Garden of Eden except for the fruit from the Tree of Knowledge. Satan tricked Eve into eating the fruit, she also gave the fruit to Adam. They suddenly became aware of themselves and that they were naked. They were embarrased and hid from God. They told God what they had done so he banished them from the garden where they would have to work the land, hunt, and they would have to be forced to labor (whereas, in the garden, they did not have to hunt, or work the land, they were taken care of). Also, for women, childbirth would become painful and they were given periods. Adam and Eve had two sons, Cain and Able. Cain became jealous of Able and murdered him. Adam and Even had a third son, Seth. They had many many many other children as well, but these are the main ones the bible speaks of. The many children of Adam and Eve are the ones that procreated with each other to populate the earth (Or the known world which was very very small portion of the Middle East. Most likely an area surrounded by the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers). When God flooded the earth (or most likely the areas close to water where the first civilizations lived) Noah and his family were the only survivors, and they would have populated the earth again in the same way that Adam and Eve's children did. Noah and his family, however, were decendants of Adam and Eve. So yes, we all are related. Also, the bible says that Adam lived to be over 600 years old, so he would have done a lot of reproducing. Noah also lived to be over 600 yrs old. Apparently, for people of this time, that was an average life span. You have to remember, that there was nothing harmful that would have caused their bodies to wear out as quickly as ours. There is a belief that the earth had a protective "bubble" around it (a thicker ozone layer), which protected all living things including animals as well. Just think, when the earth was first created there was no sickness, no cancer, no anything that would cause someone to die.

Adam + Eve= Cain, Abel & Seth ( Abel was killed)
Either those sons got with Eve or with sisters who remain nameless.
The nuns never answered me when I asked!
I always thought that more people were around and that God breathed a soul and intelligence into the whole lot of them.
You know what? It doesn't matter. We're here now and yes, we are related and can be traced back to relatively few people.
C. :)!!

read carefully. it is a myth that Adam and Eve were created first. adamic man was created the first "7 days" adamic means red in the face, not adam although the name did come from that. adam and eve were created the second weak.

(there is also a myth about a woman previous to eve named Lilith who gave herself to Satan, but that's another story)

so it is then written, Cain kills Able, and then leaves to marry a woman from another tribe.

another thing to consider, Cain and Able were not the only children of Adam and eve.

and no, every one would be descended from Noah and his family, due to them being The only one to survive the flood of inequity.

Adam (Hebrew "man") and Eve (Hebrew "living one") were the first man and woman created by God according to the
Bible and the Qur'an.
This story is told in the book of Genesis. In the original story, God creates Adam from the dust of the earth and breathes life into him, making him a living being. God then creates the animals, and Adam names them. Finally, God makes Adam a helpmate fashioned from his rib, the woman Eve. God forbids Adam and Eve from eating the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, warning that they will die if they do. The serpent tempts Eve into eating the forbidden fruit, and she gives the fruit to Adam, too. They become aware of their nakedness, and when God sees the clothes they have made for themselves, he knows they've disobeyed his command and gained wisdom. God expels them both from the Garden of Eden and curses them. The man is cursed to labor, and the woman is cursed to submit to her husband and to bear children in pain. God also curses the serpent to crawl and to eat dust, and he puts enmity between people and serpents. God posts an angel to guard the entrance to the garden.
Adam and Eve have two sons, Cain and Abel. Cain kills Abel when God rejects his offering and accepts Abel's. Cain is then cursed to wander, and he founds a city and a lineage. Adam and Even have another son, Seth, and other children. These children then multiply, populate the world, and take dominion over it, as God had commanded.
In modern times the theory of evolution has challenged the Christian belief in the historicity of Adam and Eve. The idea of a single male and female human ancestor is contradictory to evolutionary theory. According to this theory, the population of humans gradually evolved from other hominans, and the population size was never two (indeed if the population size had been just two, humans would almost certainly have become extinct). Somewhat confusingly however, geneticists have identified individuals dubbed "Y-chromosomal Adam" and "Mitochondrial Eve". Mitochondrial Eve is the common matrilineal ancestor of all humans alive today whilst Y-chromosomal Adam is the common patrilineal ancestor who lived many millennia after Mitochondrial Eve.

God created Adam in the Garden of Eden. He made Eve out of Adam's rib. Anything Eve did Adam had to do also. They were both innocent until Eve ate the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. So of course Adam had to eat the fruit too. After that they knew how to reproduce and create children. But God sent them out of the Garden of Eden. They had 2 children. Eventually Adam and Eve died.
And I don't know if we're all related but some think we are I however do not.
Hope you understood this!

God created Adam
Adam felt lonely
God made Adam sleep deeply and took a rib from him
With the rib, God made Eve ( 1st surgery)
( The Temptation )

Satan made himself a serpent and told Eve to eat an apple... She obeyed and gave Adam one too. God found out and punished them. They had kids and multiplied which results to... all the people in the world...

Grab a Bible read the very first three chapters. It tells of Adam and Eve. Read a few more chapter and you will read of the beginnings of the human race.

adam was created by God from dust. then he got lonely, so God made him a companion, a wife Eve, and told them that they could do anything in the garden of eden (paradise) except eat the fruit from the tree of knowledge. One day Eve was at the tree and a snake told her to eat from it, saying that God just didn't want them to have power. She ate some, and gave some to Adam to eat. Of course, God noticed, and banished them from the garden. Yes, they then reproduced and had two sons, etc...according to that, yes, we're all related. but maybe it's not to be taken literally. who knows?

Yep we are all related....It is sad but you finally found out the truth. You are my sister..Blue (the cat) says do not worry we will take care of you. That is why God is the father and we are his children. You may want to go to church this Sunday and learn a little more about it. Blue knows all about it and he has never been to church.
