Everyone's bragging on NE and the Colts, and rightfully so, but ESPN and the NFL Network say they better not overlook Pittsburgh, because, not only do we have the number one defense in the league, but they say that the Steelers are built to beat both teams. We've already showed the blueprint to beat the Colts, and our defense can put pressure on Brady. Remember, people like Romo and Brady are just another QB when pressure is in their face. But I love it when Pittsburgh is overlooked. They usually win Super bowls then (beat the Bungals, Colts, and Broncos all at home, who by the way were the top 3 teams in the AFC that year.) And one more thing, we're the only team in the league to beat BOTH the Colts and Patriots in the last 4 years (Pats '04, Colts, '06.)

yeah, well, apparently there aren't many smart analysts out there ...
we should become analysts!!! haha
no seriously, the Steelers seem to play better when they're the underdogs anyhow - it's like they're hungrier or something.
I mean, look at their last Super Bowl run.
let's just watch them do it again and we can laugh at all the stupid people who doubted them ...
we're used to it. it works out good that way, actually ...
GO STEELERS!!!!
:O)

I'm starting to see a little bit of attention, but you're right, ESPN hasn't had the vision to look beyond the Patriots, Cowboys and Colts all year. Hell....Chris Berman has picked the Steelers to lose all but one game this year. I don't give a flying f about the media's comments or favorites though. Pittsburgh isn't a pretty boy franchise..and oftened hated for it's blue collar, hard-working, beat you down style. So let the haters continue to do what they do...hate. Meanwhile it's a really good life being a Steelers fan.

GO STEELERS!!!!

Big Pats fan here, so take this as you will, I try to be objective. I think you guys are getting about the right amount of love. Analysts and astute observers of the NFL consider you one of the 5 or 6 teams that to this point in the season has shown that you can compete for the Super Bowl. You have a solid O and strong D but you haven't played the stiffest competition yet so it's hard to put you in the same class as NE and Indy so far since they've each played some decent teams and are undefeated. All of that could change in a 2 or 3 weeks time, but for now I think you're getting the proper due- you're highly respected but not yet feared like the top two. Fair enough?

not sure what you're talking about, but they do give the steelers love. it's just that roethlisburger's still coming off his worst season as a pro and they have yet to face a worthy opponent. cleveland, while they are performing miraculously under derek anderson, is only playing stupendously after getting their butts whooped by your steelers week 1.

buffalo: do you really consider them a great team?
sf: decent defense, but aside from that, offense is in shambles. moreover, the steelers didn't turn it around until troy took out vernon davis' knee (mid 3rd quarter).
arizona: lost to their former o-coord
seattle: currently, the 'best' the nfc west has to offer, esp with all the injuries throughout the division
bye: you don't get more 'love' if you're on bye

this week: denver
let's see how they are against a better team like the broncos, esp away.

no doubt did rooney make the best selection possible in tomlin. just don't expect real love until november. then you may have an argument. in the mean time, just enjoy the ride.

hell yea my friend. im a die hard steelers fan trapped in a philadelphia eagles fan base. plz send some love because these 2-3 eagles fan keep talkin about the super bowl. wen really i think the steelers could make it. were number 2 in the league in rushing yards because we took our buy week. our defence is number 2 thanks to the bye week. wen we really should be number one in both those catagories. and roethlisberger is makin some real smart decisions and not turning it over. i mean we had the bal for over 45 mins against the seahawks not to mention we shut them and alexander out. i no the pats and colts are undefeated but had hampton and polamalu not been injured in that cardinal game wed be undefeated 2 go steelers 12-4 13-3 with a trip to the afc champion ship at least

Sorry, until the Patriots or Colts start losing, the media will not even consider a third team with the possibility of winning it all.
