There are my 2 options:
1) I can stay at the school I'm at now (prestigious!) and wind up getting my bacehlor's degree in something I'm not too excited about. This is a small liberal arts school, and I'm not excited about any of the degrees they offer.

2) Transfer, and go to nursing school instead...something that I would love to do.

My parents want me to stay here because it's such a great school....but my heart belongs with nursing. I'm just confused as to what I should do.

make the transfer to nursing school and tell your parents that you would enjoy the nursing more. You might tell them that they would not want you to stay with a husband who made your life unhappy and you should change schools for that very reason, that you are not happy there.
There is a tremendous shortage of nurses in many areas so you can even perhaps find something on the internet, or even in your local paper to show them how good a field that is to go into at this time. Good Luck to you

I would agree to go with one's passion. It's more practical and you are the one that has to get up in the a.m. and go to work 8-12 hours a day for how many years to come. They say if you love what you do, you'll never have to work a day in your life.
