PS3 or Iphone?

Question

My birthday is four months away and i want to save some money to buy a PS3 or an Iphone. Both of them are pretty much the same price. I already have a 360 and wii. Give me an answer an explanation.

This is a tough question...

I say PS3.

And here's why.

By the early spring, the PS3 is likely to be doing alot better than it is right now. Two potenital killer apps will have been released (Uncharted: Drake's Fortune and LittleBigPlanet), and even more will be released that year (ex. Killzone 3), and there will naturally be even more Blu-Ray movies to choose from than there are now. The $400 PS3 will be out by then, and it should be the one that you buy, unless you need to play PS2 game sone it, in which case you should get the at-that-time-$500 80GB, because the 60GB will no doubt have been since phased out.
And also, developers aren't all switching to cheaper-to-develop-for consoles. That was only in the case of one game, Monster Hunter 3, which really nobody was going to play anyway. The PS3 will have lots of good games by the end of 2008.

In my opinion, iPhones are... weird. Chances are that you already have a phone and an iPod (but if you don't, then my opinion changes here. I repeat: If you don't already have a phone or an iPod, then get the iPhone instead of the PS3), and because of that, you don't really need an iPhone.

So the final verdict is:
Get a PS3 unless you don't already have a phone and/or an iPod, in which case you should get the iPhone.

well, that's a good question.
Since [assuming] that the PS3 is kinda like the same thing as 360? well, you already have a 360 and a Wii, so what's the point in getting another game system.
so between those two,
i would choose the iPhone.
but as you probably know,
there hasn't been great reviews about the iPhone.
are you looking for a phone or more of a music player..?
if it's a music player than you should most definitly get the newest touch screen video ipod.
and if its the phone, then..
there's a new sidekick coming out.
but then again, i think the iPhone is better.

Don't get a PS3. My friend just traded his for a wii. There aren't a lot of good games for it. In fact, a lot of game developers that had exclusive contracts with Sony are breaking the contracts and making their games for the 360 instead, because the PS3's sales have been so bad.

So by default, you should get an iPhone. I haven't heard anything bad about it, other than it costs a lot of money in monthly fees.

They're not about the same price. With the iPhone, you have to get AT&T's phone service plan, which is about 60 bucks per month. And you have to get it for 2 years. That's not cheap. The PS3 is only a one time payment.

There will probably be a new version of the iPhone next year. It will probably have a bigger storage space. The first generation iPhone is just an experiment for Apple. It seems like every year, there's a different version of every iProduct.

Iphone is an overvalued telephone and it sucks butt. i might fairly play with the touch version. The iPhone is extremely undesirable to text fabric with and hear calls and its quantity is so undesirable. you opt for all human beings to be silent to take heed to them communicate. so which you will no longer hear something in a crowd and its ok telephone, no longer relatively actual worth the fee tag inspite of the indisputable fact that. i might get the PS3.

hey i would have to say take the PS# because u have more choices of games..unless u dont have a cell phone.then i would get the iphonealso i have a question....how much did u get your wii for do u think i should get one i am 14 and i have played one but do u think i should get one???
