Why does he always pick Notre Dame to win? Notre Dame is horrible this year, and he just picked ND against Boston College last week, and again against USC this week.

Well, ND wasn't embarassed by Boston College, it was 27-14, so it wasn't that much of a stretch that they could pull off a win. USC has played three terrible games in a row and is lucky to have lost only one of them. They also had quite a scare flying into South Bend (hey, a traumatic experience could carry over), so it's hard to say. I have a tough time thinking that USC won't finally put together a decent game and smoke ND, however, ND has been steadily improving while USC has been going the opposite direction, maybe the twain shall meet on Saturday, after what's happened so far this season, anything's possible.

He acts like a senile old man. Picking Notre Dame every week is an insult to knowledgable fans.

He's got like 80 years of coaching experience and instant name recognition, so as an announcer he's allowed to make no correct picks for a few seasons in a row before they ditch him

That's because he feels horrible for always picking the other team to win when he was coaching the Irish. "Sheshus Christ!! We can't beat Michigan, they're too tough!!!"

Your supposed to be bias on all the teams even if you have coached for them. As a announcer your not supposed to talk about your personal teams. It isn't very informative and makes me not want to watch it.
