I find that making up a story in which only the ideal situation would arise helps. Deep down I know its fake, but that small possibility that it might come true, helps.
I also find that talking out each possibility to myself helps.

How do you find hope?

Ever since I faced burdens of life, I simply recall the first day I have it. And the same cure I've done. Want to know was it was? And believe it or not, I even using it as an advice to others. I vividly wrote poems. Here's how it goes.

BERNIE'S POETRY

I hate when I see those tears
Remind Me of the aches
The burdens I once kept
We've been through some of its kind
And I found you tough
You you gave no reason to run
You just go on and smile

Remember our good friends
They do faced mistakes too
Some hide within the night
But they hold on and stand still
Later they see the door
Reach the awaited sun
They found out obstacles won't be enough
For someone with faith and hope to survive

If no one lend their hand
Much better for you to thank them
By now, you have something to prove
And the rights to do it in your own way

The road was so long but
Its not too wide for both of us
let's initiate together
And always believe
You don't have to risk anything
For I... will always be with you

It was somehow weird but it actually works. I really gaining back my energy after this. And if your asking me how I find hope, it's on Him. Why don't you give it a try. You'll surely find it too.

Without faith in God I would be without hope in this world. I have great hope and expectation that someday the Lord will balance the books, and take care of all the wrongs in this world. He promises this, and I choose to believe it. I have experienced despair many times, but the Lord in His kindness, always lifts me out of it. The writer of Corinthians in the Bible, talks about hope of the resurrection, when our bodies come out of the grave - and this is called the 'blessed hope'. A lot of folks despair when they think their life is futile, meaningless, and no hope after their life is over. My friend, I would recommend you read 1 Corinthians, chapter 15, verses 12 thru the end of the chapter. We do have hope for our futures !! HOPE is so necessary to all of us. Those who lose hope go into despair, and this is NOT GOOD.

I don't find hope. It finds me. I've despaired deep down past where it's black in my soul, and still hope found me and rescued me. And it wasn't fake.
Hope might flicker. It might fade. But it never completely dies out.
How do I know this? Because I am living proof that hope can regenerate a spirit.

I think you follow a process which is similar to my own. The wonderful thing about life is that things always change. Nothing ever stays the same. Knowing that allows me to understand that there is always the possibility that the oncoming change is going to be for the better. As long as I can imagine a better outcome, hope remains intact.

I find hope in nature. When I'm down I hike in the woods or go to the ocean. It always gives me hope that things will get better.
