Just as some will base their logic in the scientific method, others will base their logic in the Bible. It would seem that if the true logic were in plain site, everyone would have made the corresponding shift to that logic by now.

Instead, you have one insisting that God's hand in the creation of the universe cannot be proved using the scientific method (thus debunking the religion), and another insisting that God is intuitive and the man responsible for all of this science by default - that he cannot be 'proven' is not the point.

Would you agree that the two sides are equally aggravating to listen to? :D Also feel free to comment on anything else relative to this.

Logic is independent of Science or Religion. It is not contingent on one's belief's.

There is only logic or lack of logic.

Can god create a rock so heavy that he can't lift it?
If yes he is not omnipotent if no he is not omnipotent
then does it follow that the laws of logic is god?
traditionally logic is things like just because you see 1000000000000000000000 white swans it doesn't mean all swans are white because a black swan would disprove this
There is no logic in the bible consider the following
God is beyond definition he is perfect

You seem to think that just because something is logical everyone would see it as such. clearly that is wrong. when the earth was logically proven to be round it took 100's of years before people accepted that.

But actually the earth is flat and if you don't believe me i will push you over the edge.
he is a definition elsewhere it says god made man in his own image that is also a definition.

I don't pay much attention to the God vs. No God argument because it is ultimately useless. It is my opinion that people who engage in this debate are people who have succumbed to vanity. The vanity of their own righteousness.
I see no reason for anyone to engage in such a worthless exercise as arguing the point.
The proof or disproof God, or the the amalgamation of belief and science is not a matter of debate to begin with. It is simply a matter of constructing a system of belief, wisdom and thought that works for each individual.

The basis of all forms of logic is epistemology. Mathematics is a form of it. Syllogistic logic is a form. The known laws of the universe as we understand them is the epistemology of physics. You should study up on what epistemology is and how it works.

Okay, I'll say this, the basis of logic is reality. Don't tell me that reality is based on perception, I know better.

even more frustrating that no two religious people agree about their own beliefs and likewise scientists about theirs......is it that we cant really believe something as completely true unless we are able to persuade someone else to have the same belief...and therefor validating it?
