Well now that depends on how it's looked at. From one perspective, it could be regular, kindergarten 1+1=2. From another, it could be 1+1 meaning 1 and 1 could be 11. Another way is if you look at like another person said, two people, and have a kid or kids, 3 or more. Then there's also the whole 1+1, meaning one person of themselves, to mean only 1, such as me and myself. So there's several ways to look at what 1+1 equals. I'm sure there's a couple or more I'm missing, but those are the ones I can come up with.
