I think that like charges repel and apposite charges attract with a force proportional to the product of the charges and inversely proportional to the square of the distance.

F=k Q1Q2/R^2 (Coulombs Law)

Also I would like to let you on a secret. When electric charges move they generate a magnetic field perpendicular to the line of motion and a magnetic field, normal component to motion, can apply force on the moving electric charges as well.
