It is a proven failure and has been tried in hundreds of countries for hundreds of years.
What are the results? No sustained success whatsoever.

Why is the insistence on instituting a proven failure in America called "progressive"?

Do liberals not know the meaning of "digressive"?

Its because the movement "progressively" takes more and more of your property and wealth, and redistributes it to those who cannot/ will not make it on their own..

This is a very broad subject and simply cannot be answered in a paragraph or two. Understand that liberal is not a bad word. Socialism is always mistaken for Communism. (which if you read about, is more of a representation of the American Republican party than anything) Socialism has not ever been proven to not work. Think beyond Romania and the like. Read about Teddy Roosevelt and the MuckRackers. Read Upton Sinclair. Teddy was one of the greatest presidents (a Republican most of his life. . . operative word being "most"). During his Presidency capitalism ran amuck. America at the time institued very little socialistic ideas. And guess what? America was falling apart. People (to include children) were working 16+ hours a day in horrid conditions. They were not making any money and in essence virtually starving and dying very young. Teddy was a trust buster and he fixed the food industry as well as many other things involving business. America needed it because it was pure capitalist society and once again it was failing. America is actually a mixture of socialism and capitalism. If you think that countries that are socialist, or that have implimented socialistic values fail. . . then you might not enjoy visiting Europe or Canada. Which Europe by the way is enjoying the Euro just a little bit more than we are enjoying the American Dollar. My advice is to take classes at a Univeristy and really read and understand Socialism. By the way, I am in the military and we are as socialist as you get. I get free dental, free health, all my meds get paid for and I get free college. It works for us.

Get rich quick schemes in the capitalist business world, (buyouts, IPOs, conglomerates, acquisitions, mergers, and the stock market), do not actually work. Remaining solvent does not actually exist within false economics capitalism.

Profit existing in the capitalist business world, or millionaires existing within capitalism, is pathological deception committed by the 21 organizations spying on the population with plain clothes agents, (with covert fake names and fake backgrounds).

Actual economics is the persons paying the monthly business loan payments of companies voting at work in order to control the property they are paying for.

Capitalism is the psychology of imaginary parents, false economics, and the criminal deception of employees that are paying the bills (including the stocks and bonds, or shares) of companies.

Anti-democracy republicanism is the psychology of imaginary parents and false government.

I don't think they actually deal in logical terms, but are emotionally lead. They are easily swayed by the media and if the media promotes socialism then a mindless liberal will think that sounds good. Rather than look into the facts of a socialist movement, they'll just be mindless sheep and appreciate the government being their shepherd.

liberals are not socialists, first of all. but if you're referring to our support for universal health care and social programs, just look at europe and canada. were those failures? no.

by the way, on the topic of gov spending, clinton left office with a surplus of 1 trillion. the "fiscally conservative" republican george big spending bush has put us about 1 trillion IN DEBT.

Progressive is about change, specifically changing the constitution so it embraces socialism.

Liberals don't think they feel. Sometimes you think maybe they get their ideas from Star Wars or something.
