I have a friend who's a psychologist. He says his clients/patients have been experiencing the same mysterious dream although none of them have ever met. According to him, psychologists across the nation have been reporting the same baffling phenomenon. There's no commonality between the clients/patients who report this dream other than they all have a "W" bumper sticker on their car.

The subject of their dream is the bald eagle from the opening of the TV show, the Colbert Report. It's the eagle that dives across the screen during the opening credits and makes that screeching sound. The difference is that the eagle is now huge, with a 50+ foot wingspan.

In the dream, they say that this is eagle is circling above, and when its eyes locks on to theirs, it dives at them and snatches them in its claws. They may try hiding in their basement, but the giant eagle nevertheless smashes through the roof unharmed as though their homes were made of paper. The great eagle would grasp its neocon prey and then fly up into the sky.

The captured Fox News-watcher would struggle helplessly and weep uncontrollably, unable to escape from the grip of eagle's talons as it zooms in the direction of Iraq. Once there, it would release its prisoner into the sands of the desert. On the ground, the bush supporter is given military fatigues, issued a rifle, and is drafted into the US Army to fight in bush's war.

They report that no matter how much they try to hide, the eagle always finds them. It doesn't matter if they go to college, claim to have a pilonidal cyst, have well-connected parents, or even if they explore "the gay option", the eagle always seeks them out wherever they are and captures them every time.

What could possibly be the meaning behind this mysterious dream that two-time bush voters across America have been experiencing? Why do these people always report waking up from this same dream quivering in fear and sitting in soiled bedsheets?

Anyone?

It's the common fear held by all Bush supporters that they will have to pay appropriately for their actions. More specifically that the American people will force them to die for George Bush, just as so many innocent American kids have already.
