I have been pulling for them the past few years because I am a Havlat fan...But I am convinced they are a cursed franchise. Havlat has been injured so often since the trade, Ruutu (who was once pegged to be a Forsberg-esque player) is always hurt, even Khabibulin hasn't gotten it together since being sent there. I'm hoping for the best, but the Cubs have worn off on their city brethren.
Oh, I am in Boston, so my favorite team is always out of this time zone- Detroit, Ottawa.

I've seen two Hawks game this on NHL.tv. And they looked pretty good.

They've beaten Detroit, Dallas, and Colorado.

Lang, that traitor, is shooting the puck more frequently and is finishing plays. He's going to have a great year.

Jason Williams is contributing goals during power plays.

And don't forget that kid Patrick Kane. He's setting up goals.

I bet by the All Stars Game, the Hawks are going to be getting into a serious groove.

I would think like a lot of fans of Chicago's sports teams, there will be frusted fans, but none more of the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Blackhawks, since these are 2 teams in Chicago that have been around a long time, that have failed in bringing back championships to the city of Chicago. Do you think that they are just as cursed as the Chicago Cubs? At the time, that they got Nikolai Khabibulin, he was the goaldender of the defending champions Tampa Bay Lighitng, and then he goes out, and puts on a Chicago Blackhawks jersey, and he becomes a fraud. He goes from a winner 2 a loser. You might as well be frusted until something happens, like lighting stirkes and the Chicago Blackhawks start winning, even in a Miracle. So that you have only been cherring for the Chicago Blackhawks starting this season, since that is looks like how long he has been on the Chicago Blackhawks.

For the sake of the rivalry, the Blues fans here in St. Louis would like Chicago to stay on the climb, which I believe they have been on since Savard took over as coach.

M. Havlat is a player who has lost my respect. After being injured at the beginning of the season, he went to five different doctors until one finally gave him a diagnosis that did not require surgery, and now he is scheduled to return to the Hawks in four weeks. I believe that this selfish act will only end in him getting hurt worse when he does return, and may even be a potential career-altering injury. If I were a Hawks fan, I wouldn't want my star player to return until he was fully healthy.

The Blackhawks at the moment have the longest Stanley Cup drought, havent received it because 1961, and performance the 2d longest all time drought in basic terms in the back of the 1994 Rangers who before ninety 4 didnt win because 1940. The Blackhawks streak of triumphing the Cup isnt going to end each and every time quickly, for 2 motives: no longer going to win with Huet between the pipes, and they have Marian Hossa, the cursed participant for any Stanley Cup contender. Dont trust me in basic terms ask Ottawa (all those years they were given ousted contained in the early rounds regardless of being a top 4 seed), Detroit, and Pittsburgh. be conscious that once Pittsburgh had him Detroit received the Cup and the following 365 days at the same time as Detroit had him, Pittsburgh received the cup. the guy's a postseason plague no longer to instruct he doesnt come close to to generating contained in the the numbers contained in the playoffs that he places up contained in the common season.

Funny, I thought the Hawks have looked good (not so much Khabibulin) and Havlat himself is cursed.
Many poolies had bets on who would go down first between he and Gaborik.

I've been frustrated with the Hawks since they traded Esposito, Hodge and Stanfield in a single deal to the Bruins ... I gotta get a life.
