I am desperatley trying to save my marriage! My wife is bipolar and her mother has convinced her to divorce me. I know that we can work through this. She is unable to take her medication as she is pregnant. We have a beautiful daughter as well. The problem is, we are to go to court next week (Austin, TX). I cannot pay $5000 which is the fee for representation. I may have to represent myself in which I risk losing my family. My preference is marriage counseling and/or mediation. What can I do to prevent losing my girls and wonderful wife?? I've emailed pro-bono, legal-aid, church & pastors, etc. No responses yet. Help!!

It may be a good idea to talk to her mother..sit down and do not yell. Be upfront and ask her why she feels the two of you should not be together. Let her know you really love your family. Offer to goto counseling together even if it means family counseling.
Go down to legal aid office and ask for a representative. If it does goto court and even if you dont have someone to represent you tell them you disagree and you still love your wife. More than likely they will make her goto counseling with you.
Does she have a doctor you can talk to or counselor? Make appointment to talk to them. Go in person to talk to a pastor even if its where her parents go to church and maybe have a family meeting.
Try to talk to your wife.. send her flowers, cards, letters.. whatever it takes to show her your not giving up on her and your life together. Do not harass though or argue. Just let it be known that you love her and dont want this divorce. good luck!!
