It's A.

Bacteria do not have a Nucleus so it cannot be E. Bacteria also cause human disease, as do Eukaryotes like Yeast and Mold, so it can't be D. It's not C because all living things contain some sort of nucleic acid. Again bacteria and most Eukaryotes cannot be seen without a microscope.

All viruses are is Nucelic acid, inside of a protein coat, thats all. There are no functioning structures inside the virion (virus coat).

E) Lack a nucleus. A virus is essentially Viral DNA packaged in protein.
